RFP and CDBG Public Services Application

The City of Grand Prairie Community Development Block Grant provides public services funds to eligible non-profit organizations for the provision of programs and services to low to moderate income Grand Prairie residents. CDBG funds can be used to address a range of housing and community development eligible activities.

Applicant agencies must apply for program funding under one of the following specific categories:

1. homelessness services,
2. physical and mental health services
3. youth and senior services, or
4. other non-housing community development.

Eligible activities for public services funds may include but are not limited to counseling, childcare, education, case management, and homeless prevention activities. Projects and activities must also meet eligibility requirements as defined by HUD and the City of Grand Prairie’s Consolidated Plan.
