The Black Experience is a month-long celebration honoring Black history, culture, and contributions through engaging programs across Grand Prairie. Throughout February, residents and visitors are invited to take part in events that highlight music, wellness, education, civic dialogue, and the arts.

This citywide series brings people together to learn, reflect, and connect through shared experiences that recognize the past while celebrating the present and future. From family-friendly activities to thought-provoking conversations and cultural showcases, The Black Experience offers opportunities for all ages to participate and engage.
