The Budget Division prepares and monitors the operating and capital projects budgets to allocate revenues in a cost-effective manner.

The Budget Division also facilitates effective decision-making and fiscal responsibility by providing accurate analysis, operation evaluation, and timely reports to meet the needs of the City Council and city departments.

Capital Improvement Program

The City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a planning tool used to identify and coordinate major capital projects that support Grand Prairie’s infrastructure, facilities, streets, utilities, parks, public safety, and technology.
