Flood Warning Sirens

The City of Grand Prairie has three Flood Warning Sirens in areas of the city that are within a 100-year floodplain.

These areas are subject to flooding and may become inaccessible during a flood emergency.

When Flood Warning Sirens activate, expect to hear 4 tones followed by a verbal message informing you that there is an emergency, flood water is rising, and to evacuate the area.
