Engineering Development Services

The Engineering Department offers many services to the private development community to assist project owners, designers and contractors throughout the design and construction process.

Topographic Maps, LiDAR Data and Record Drawings

The City of Grand Prairie currently has 1-foot elevation contours based on 2016 LiDAR data for the City. The contours are available in CAD (*.dwg) and GIS (*.gdb) formats. Record drawings are also available for many city-owned facilities including water, wastewater, and storm drain utilities.

Topographic maps, LiDAR data and record drawings are available to download from the links below at no cost.

Maps are for graphical purposes only. They do not represent a legal survey. While every effort has been made to ensure that these data are accurate and reliable within the limits of the current state of the art, GPTX cannot assume liability for any damages caused by any errors or omissions in the data, nor as a result of the failure of the data to function on a particular system.
