Recycling Electronics

Worker sorting old TVs and computers for recycling

Grand Prairie residents are invited to take electronic waste to the Grand Prairie Landfill for recycling or to free electronics recycling events scheduled at City Hall throughout the year.

Recycle Electronics at the Grand Prairie Landfill

Grand Prairie residents may take electronic waste to the Grand Prairie Landfill (1102 MacArthur Blvd.) for recycling during normal operating hours. The following documents are required to use the landfill:

  • A current Texas driver's license with a Grand Prairie address
  • Any utility bill matching the address on the license

Grand Prairie residents without a utility bill, such as apartment residents, may bring their electronics to an Electronics Recycling Event (a current Texas driver's license with a Grand Prairie address is still required).
