Mike Del Bosque's Bio

Occupation

Mike Del Bosque owns two toxicology labs and an injury rehabilitation center, which specializes in spine surgery. He has been an entrepreneur since the age of 19 when he began purchasing residential and commercial properties, fixing them up, and selling them.

Academic

Mike graduated from South Grand Prairie High School and attended Texas Tech University.

Public Service

Council Member Del Bosque was elected to represent District 3 in May 2017. He is on the YMCA Board of Directors and is a member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). He is a Brighter Tomorrows sponsor, a Lifeline sponsor, St. Michaels Catholic Church parishioner and a member of Target Evolution, a student entrepreneur program. He started the Del Bosque Family scholarship which awards $35,000 scholarships to 30 students who excel in school, but have difficult home lives. When his children were younger, he was a soccer and baseball coach and has always enjoyed mentoring students.

Personal

A lifelong resident of Grand Prairie, Mike is a single dad. His daughter Victoria is a student at Mountain View College and Michael, 16, is a senior at South Grand Prairie High School. He has two brothers, Frank and Isaac, and sisters, Melissa and Norma. His parents, Frank Senior and Eloisa, moved to Grand Prairie from South Texas in 1968.
