All accessory structures, including sheds, garages, shops, and gazebos, require an approved permit.
A person shall not demolish or begin demolition of a structure or part of a structure without obtaining a permit for demolition work.
All electrical work requires an approved permit by the Building Inspections Division.
All commercial fences require an approved permit and shall be installed and maintained in accordance with all codes and ordinances.
Any foundation repair will require an approved permit.
All Interior Finish Out, upgrade to an existing building, require an approved permit by the Building Inspections Division.
All Commercial Irrigation work requires an approved permit by the Building Inspections Division.
A Mechanical Permit is required prior to conducting any mechanical work such as heating, duct-work, or cooling.
All new commercial building structures regardless of size, require an approved permit by the Building Inspections Division.

Permits are processed in approximately 10 business days. Depending on updates needed from the applicant, as this can result in longer approval times.
24-Hour Inspection Request Line: 972-237-8007. All inspection requests received overnight and before 8:00 a.m. the next morning will be place on that day's inspection schedule. Calls received after 8:00 a.m. will be scheduled for the next work day. You will be prompted to make selections through-out the call. Before calling you will need:
