Commercial Foundation Repair Permit

Foundation repairs are defined as leveling, installation and/or replacement of piers, footings, or any modification/alteration of any part of the flooring system. Any of these repairs will require a permit. These requirements pertain only to the sections of the foundation that you repair. Existing “untouched” piers, beams and floor systems do not have to meet these requirements.

All non-residential construction must comply with codes: 2021 IBC, 2021 IPC, 2021 IF&G, 2021 IMC, 2021 IEC, 2021 IRC, 2023 NEC. View Full List of Requirements for Non-Residential Additions/Construction Permit.
