The Adopt-A-Street program is a cooperative effort between the city, our residents, business owners, clubs, and organizations to keep our right-of-ways and neighborhoods clean and beautiful. Interested parties may adopt one or more sections of roadway in Grand Prairie.

Adopters seeking a 1 mile section of roadway are eligible for a set of two signs, one on either end of the section, that display their name.

Adopters seeking a 1/2 mile section of roadway are eligible for one sign. Adopters seeking an adoption smaller than a 1/2 mile, such as in front of their home, school, or business, are eligible to have their name displayed on KGPB's Adopt-A-Street webpage.

Groups seeking to pick up litter on Grand Prairie roadways for a one-time event may contact the KGPB Coordinator to locate a section of roadway needing additional care.

An adopting group may receive up to 20 safety vests, up to 20 pairs of gloves, up to 20 KGPB shirts, and a roll of trash bags with their first adoption.
