New installations create a more immersive experience at Great Southwest Nature Park. Visitors will now see new educational signs along the 68-acre park that keep you safe, informed and entertained while you explore.

  • Learn about the plants and animals around you. New interpretive signs help you identify a mystery bird or native Texas plant.
  • Interactive game stops along the trail offer a quick excuse to burn off energy, bond and play games mid-walk.  
  • Wayfinding signs ensure you always know where you are and how close you are to the parking lot.
  • New 911-emergency signs feature location tags. In case of emergency, you can help first responders can pinpoint your exact spot on the trail..
