Epic Waters invites guests to celebrate National Waterpark Day on Tuesday, July 28, during "The Coolest Day of Summer," a special event featuring more than one ton of ice dumped into the park's 10,000-square-foot wave pool.
The celebration includes mascot meet-and-greets with Waddles and Finn, snowball battles, complimentary snow cones while supplies last and a special appearance by Grand Prairie Mayor Ron Jensen, who will lead the countdown to the Wave Pool Ice Dump.
While enjoying one of the coolest days of the summer, guests are also encouraged to help Grand Prairie students prepare for the upcoming school year by participating in Epic Waters' annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive, which runs through Sunday, Aug. 9.
Families who donate 10 new school supply packages will receive one free admission pass to Epic Waters, valid through Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2026 (excluding Saturdays and holidays).
