The City of Grand Prairie is in the process of annexing specific property, at the landowner’s request, and will hold public hearings related to the annexations at 6:30pm on February 3, 2026 at City Hall, Council Chambers, 300 W. Strategic Partnership Agreement
The City of Grand Prairie entered into a Strategic Partnership Agreement with the Ellis County Fresh Water Supply District #1 which provides for the annexation of the District into the City after it has been 90% developed and the developer has been reimbursed for certain public improvements which were funded by the developer. A copy of the agreement is on-file with the City Secretary’s Office.
