Make the Holidays Magical for Grand Prairie Students
Published on November 24, 2025
As the holiday season is underway, Grand Prairie will once again be a host site for this year’s WFAA Santa’s Helpers Toy Drive! Let’s make this a memorable holiday season and help reach the goal of 8,000 toys.
Donation boxes are set up at Grand Prairie City facilities, including recreation centers, City Hall, and our libraries.
After Thanksgiving Break, when we resume classes on Monday, December 1, you can drop them off at any GPISD campus, the Dr. Susan J. Simpson Education Center, and the Grand Family Service Center through Thursday, December 4.
Then, mark your calendar for the live broadcast on Wednesday, December 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Epic Rec at EpicCentral. WFAA’s Pete Delkus will be live on air, joined by both Grand Prairie high school bands, cheerleaders, and drill teams. Bring a toy and join us for a great evening!
Donation period:
- 12/1 through 12/4 at any Grand Prairie City Facility.
- 12/10 from 5 - 8 PM at EpicCentral.
