The City of Grand Prairie's Alarm Ordinance requires that commercial, residential and multi-family alarm users (non-financial alarm users) in the city obtain permits to remain active. The Alarm Ordinance allows the permitted alarm user three (3) false alarms per alarm site. The billing begins with the first false alarm incident from the previous 12 month period. Service fees are as follows:
After processing your application (which typically takes 1 to 3 business days) for an alarm permit, the City of Grand Prairie will send you an email with your account number and instructions on making a payment.
