The City of Grand Prairie adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate.The tax rate will effectively be raised by 2.13 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $-.22. In accordance with Tax Code § 26.05(b)(2).
The library will host a sensory-friendly tent next to the Mobile Library to support children and families who may feel overwhelmed by the larger event environment.
The space will include calming activities, autism acceptance signage, and educational information explaining the purpose and benefits of sensory supports.
