Main Street Fest

The City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation Department is hosting the Annual Main Street Fest. The 3-day event with FREE parking and admission, celebrates the fun, festive, family atmosphere that is Grand Prairie with incredible headliner entertainment on the Main Stage accompanied by a variety of regional bands. Throughout the event enjoy novelty entertainment, carnival rides, arts and crafts, vendors, two entertainment stages, plenty of food and beer gardens, a KIDZONE and Grand Fun for all! This year’s Main Street Fest features an expanded layout, double the entertainment, and something for everyone to enjoy — from live performances and carnival rides to local eats, drinks, and artisan vendors. Festival Highlights

· Three days of live music featuring 17 Main Stage acts and 7 Community Stage performers. Headliners include The Jacksons, Lonestar, and David Lee Garza

· Expanded carnival area with $40 all-you-can-ride wristbands available on-site

· Sports and Beer Garden and signature cocktails across five bars

· Ninja Warrior course and family-friendly attractions

· Twenty-three food vendors and more than 50 arts, crafts, and goods booths

 

Festival Details

Location: Downtown Grand Prairie, 200 W. Main Street Dates and Hours:

• Friday, Oct. 24 | 5 p.m.–Midnight

• Saturday, Oct. 25 | 10 a.m.–Midnight

• Sunday, Oct. 26 | 12–8 p.m.

Admission and Parking Admission is free! Free parking is also available downtown, with overflow shuttle service from Grand Prairie High School. Shuttle pickup and drop-off will be located at Gate 4. Additional Information Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs. Pets are allowed but must remain on a leash. Outside coolers are not permitted inside the festival grounds. The event will take place rain or shine unless otherwise noted.

 

Road and Facility Closures

Road and Facility Closures Main Street will be closed beginning Friday, Oct. 24, at 9 a.m. and will reopen Monday, Oct. 27, following Main Street Fest. City Hall will close to the public at noon on Friday, Oct. 24, to allow for festival setup.
