Join Debes Creer En Ti, Inc. (DCET) as they celebrate 30 years of empowering the Grand Prairie community through education, literacy, mentoring, and scholarships. This milestone event will take place on Saturday, September 20, from 6:30–10:30 PM at the beautiful The Summit at Epic Central in Grand Prairie.

DCET’s annual FIESTA Gala Night also honors National Hispanic Heritage Month and will feature:

  • Silent Hero Azteca Awards — Recognizing outstanding leadership, community service, and academic excellence. This year’s honorees include:
    • Ron Jensen, Mayor of Grand Prairie
    • Gloria Carrillo, Grand Prairie Independent School District School Board Trustee, Place 3
    • Michael García, Scoutreach, Scouting America Circle Ten Council
    • Mary Dominguez-Santini, Founder and President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie
    • Lupe Adel Castillo, Founder of Amor a Nuestra Cultura Ballet Folklorico
  • A concert by world-renowned guitarist and inspirational performer Tony Melendez
  • Remarks from distinguished dignitaries, including Elba Garcia, Dallas County Commissioner
  • Live mariachi music by Javier Aguilar and vibrant folklorico dances from five Latin American countries
  • Dinner, dancing, and a spectacular view of The Illuvia, the Vegas-style multimedia water show over Epic Lake
