The City of Grand Prairie adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate.The tax rate will effectively be raised by 2.13 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $-.22. In accordance with Tax Code § 26.05(b)(2).

Dino Fest promises prehistoric fun for all ages. While there, you’ll have the chance to see life-sized animatronic dinosaurs like the mighty T. rex, Stegosaurus, and Brachiosaurus up close. The dinosaurs will be on the EpicCentral campus from March 8 - April 8th. Dino Fest will take place on March 21, from 12 - 5 PM. The Dino Fest will feature: - 12 life-size dinosaurs - Multiple interactive activities for families - DJ Astronaut providing live entertainment - Food trucks on site - Both Grand Prairie Mobile Library Units Rawr! (That means "see you there!" in dinosaur)
