Please join us in this fun, water-based volunteer opportunity to help clean up Cottonwood Creek. Volunteers will be collecting floating litter in the creek from kayaks, generously provided by North Texas River Runners (NTRR). Volunteers are also welcome to bring their own kayak and life jacket.
Volunteers must register for this event by Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026. This helps us ensure we have enough kayaks for all of our volunteers, and give the park a headcount of volunteers to expect. If you'd like to volunteer, but prefer to help on the shoreline, that works too! We'll take all the support on the water collecting litter, and on land collecting the bags of litter from the water volunteers.
