The City of Grand Prairie adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate.The tax rate will effectively be raised by 2.13 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $-.22. In accordance with Tax Code § 26.05(b)(2).

Grand Prairie residents are invited to join free community gardening classes taught by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
Residents must register in advance to reserve their spot by emailing kgpb@gptx.org.
This ensures that we have enough space for everyone interested in joining. It will also allow us to contact registered attendees in advance if weather conditions require us to change the location of a class.
