Traders Village Announces the Prairie Screamer Roller Coaster

“We couldn’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate our 50th anniversary than the grand opening of the Prairie Screamer, our family-oriented roller coaster”, Tim Anderson, President of Traders Village Marketplaces stated. The Prairie Screamer joins other amusement park rides that have thrilled guests for years.
Traders Village, a family-owned business since 1973, has welcomed millions of guests rivaling other area attractions. While at Trader’s Village, visitors can shop from thousands of vendors, all while enjoying numerous family friendly activities including seasonal events and live music.
Over five decades of change, one constant has remained: Traders Village support of small businesses in the community, many of which have been in the market for decades and are handed down to the next generation, making it a truly special place.
Plans for the celebratory year include a 50th anniversary party that will take place March 4. “Expect parades, music, food, and special guests”, said Lee Ann Murray, Senior Marketing Director for Traders Village Marketplaces. “Pretty much our average weekend at Traders Village, only amplified!”
