Re:  Notice of Meeting on PID Budgets and Service Plans

Dear PID Member:

Each year, the Grand Prairie City Council approves the PID Budgets and Service Plans for each of the City’s 19 Public Improvement Districts (“PIDs”).  There are multiple venues for interested parties to provide input on PID Budgets and Service Plans to include contacting the PID Board directly and by submitting feedback in the PIDs section of the City’s website at gptx.org/pid.  In addition, citizens may provide input to their boards in August—the PID board meeting schedule is posted here:  www.gptx.org/pid/schedule.

This year, the Grand Prairie Finance and Government Committee (F&G) will meet on September 2, 2025, 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m. at City Hall, 300 W. Main Street, for the purpose of providing interested parties an opportunity to provide input and comment on PID budgets and service plans.  The meeting will be posted in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Public Information Act, as always.  This notice is being sent as a courtesy in addition to any required notice to make you aware of this opportunity.

The meeting on September 2, 2025 is solely to gather input from interested parties on the PID budgets.  No action will be taken by the Finance and Government Committee. We appreciate the public’s input, and we look forward to hearing your comments.
