The City of Grand Prairie to Host Small Business Expo

Hundreds Expected to Attend
The City of Grand Prairie is proud to announce the FREE Small Business Expo March 21, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Prairie Events & Convention Center, 2925 State Highway 161. This is an excellent opportunity for small businesses to network with City officials, other small-business owners, and community leaders.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of this event for the second year,” said Kay Brown-Patrick, Grand Prairie Economic Development Business Manager. “This gathering offers a fantastic opportunity for businesses to delve into the specifics of conducting business with the City of Grand Prairie and various other regional entities.”
The event will feature upcoming bid opportunities with the City of Grand Prairie, Amazon, and other businesses and civic organizations. It will provide sessions about funding options, legal topics, effective marketing strategies, business insurance, and a variety of other sources of information. Attendees can also learn how to become a certified Small/Minority/Woman-owned Business Enterprise. Most sessions will be available in Spanish.
“The goal is for this event to serve as a catalyst in equipping business owners with the essential knowledge, networking opportunities, and resources necessary to propel their businesses to new heights,” Brown-Patrick added. “We are excited to see how this event will empower entrepreneurs and contribute to the flourishing business community in the region.”
Participating entities include Amazon, SMU Legal Clinic, North Texas Tollway Authority, UT Dallas, Women Business Council, North Texas Regional Certification Agency, Tarrant County, SCORE, several local bankers, and many others.

Es una excelente oportunidad para que las pequeñas empresas establezcan contactos con funcionarios de la ciudad, otros propietarios de pequeñas empresas y líderes de la comunidad.
"Estamos encantados de anunciar el regreso de nuestro evento un segundo año", dijo Kay Brown-Patrick, gerente comercial de desarrollo económico de Grand Prairie.
