Adoption Notice: Updated Building Codes for Texas and Grand Prairie

Adoption notice: The State of Texas has adopted the 2023 edition of the National Electrical Code as the mandatory minimum electrical code for the state as of September 1, 2023.

Additionally, as of 12/12/2023 the City Council voted to adopt the 2023 National Electrical Code for the City of Grand Prairie.

The following are the city’s currently adopted Building codes(PDF, 32KB).
