Farmers Market - Mexican Independence Day Salute and Downtown Salsa Showdown

Grand Prairie Farmers Market will include festivities to celebrate Mexican Independence Day. Are you a salsa fan? The Downtown Salsa Showdown invites individuals, businesses and organizations to compete for the title of Salsa Showdown Champion. The public can purchase tickets to sample and vote on who they think has the best salsa in town! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be awarded based on the official judges’ decision as well as a People’s Choice winner based on the number of public votes. The winners will be awarded prize money for their charity of choice and a Salsa Showdown trophy or certificate. The entry fee is only $20!

To participate, email Jordyn Whitney at jwhitney@GPTX.org ASAP. Spots are limited (10). We hope to see you there!
