Home to Home

Home-to-home gives people who can no longer keep their pets the opportunity to find new, loving homes without having to drop pets off at the shelter. Pets go from one home into another.

Animals in need of new homes are searchable on the Home-to-Home website and posted to our Facebook page.

The SPCA offers pet owners a new way to find home for their pets without ever taking them to the shelter. Their website allows users to post their pets online in order to find a new home.

Surrendering your pet

At Prairie paws, we are only able to bring in animals of residents living within city limits or that have been adopted from our facility. Humane euthanasia may be required based on medical, behavior or space-related issues.

Due to the high volume of animals that arrive at our facility, those looking to place their animals must get on our waitlist and will be contacted to schedule an appointment when it is their turn for intake.
