MLK Jr. Holiday City Administrative Offices Closed 2026

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day City of Grand Prairie administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19. Other city services that remain open are:

• The Landfill and Garbage Collection/Recycling: Normal collection.
  
  
• Epic Waters Indoor Water Park
  
  
• Prairie Lakes Golf Course and Tangle Ridge Golf Club
  
  
• The Tourist Information Center

City of Grand Prairie services that will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19:

• The Betty Warmack Branch Library, the Main Library, and the Tony Shotwell Branch Library: Items may be renewed online at gptx.org/library. Items may be returned to book drops at the Main, Warmack and Shotwell Libraries and the Lake Parks Book Locker.
