Water Wise Tours

Public Works Department

The city of Grand Prairie has several water wise demonstration gardens available for tours to civic and educational groups upon request. We have a site at 620 Small Hill that includes a brochure to guide you through the maze of beautiful native and adaptive water wise plants. This includes appropriate signs to identify the plants listed on the brochure map. Several of our water well sites are located in neighborhood situations, and to enhance the community the sites have been landscaped with water wise plants that require less water, fertilizer and pesticides.

These can be toured on request by calling 972-237-8377.
