A tax rate of $0.660000 per $100 valuation has been proposed by the governing body of the City of Grand Prairie. A public hearing on the proposed tax rate will be held during the City Council Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on September 15, 2026, at 300 W. Main St., Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
Grand Prairie’s Fire Station 9 was opened in 2000 to provide coverage for the continued growth of the city south of Interstate 20. Located on Polo Rd, Fire Station 9 blends into the neighborhood proudly serving the residents of Grand Prairie. Housed at this station is an engine and ambulance.
