Friendship Day was created so we can better serve Grand Prairie and allow employees to do community work that they are passionate about while getting to know the residents of the City of Grand Prairie. If you have an event or need that Friendship Day can assist with, please register.

City employees are compensated for half a workday to perform community service within the city extending goodwill and strengthening bonds within the community. If you are an employee who would like to participate in a Friendship Day initiative, please register.
