The AARP offers free tax assistance

Volunteers from the AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) will provide free tax assistance to low-income and elderly residents in North Texas through April 15.

 There are no more available appointments in Grand Prairie.For other tax help sites in the DFW area, visitaarp.org/taxaide

 

 

For your session, please bring :

  • A photo ID
  • Last year’s tax return or Social Security cards for everyone on the return
  • Forms W-2, 1099-R, 1098 and any other income information.
  • 1095-A form (if you have health insurance from the Affordable Healthcare Marketplace)
  • Completed intake paperwork
