Juneteenth Celebration

Thursday, June 13, 6-8 p.m.: Juneteenth Volleyball Classic at Dalworth Recreation Center. A friendly game involving Grand Prairie Organizations, the Dalworth community, and the Juneteenth committee.

Friday, June 14, 6-8 p.m.: Cookout at Tyre Park, 2327 Tyre St.

Friday, June 14, 6-10 p.m.: Juneteenth Block Party at Epic Central. Enjoy music, entertainment, food, and various attractions for an evening of celebration and unity.

Saturday, June 15, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: Traditional Saturday Celebration. The Juneteenth parade will begin at 9 a.m. at City Hall, 300 W. Main St., and continue to Tyre Park for more festivities. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and end with a cookout at Tyre Park.

Location

The Juneteenth celebration will kick off with a cookout on June 14 at Tyre Park followed by a parade on June 15 beginning at City Hall and continuing to Tyre Park for more festivities.
