Flex your creativity and maybe learn a new skill at one of our creative programs in 2026.

Crafting Corner

Adults, join us for a fun afternoon or evening of crafts and community!

Main Library: Wednesdays at 1 p.m.

Glow+ Grow

Adults, join us for an uplifting evening of candle making and gentle reflection as you choose your personal Word of the Year. Craft a custom candle, explore what inspires and motivates you, and leave with a handmade reminder of the intention you want to carry into the year ahead.

Art in the Park (Ages 3-5)

Create art pieces inspired by nature! Mix different art mediums and elements of nature in this process art program.

Note: Dress for the weather.

Kids Beginner Sewing

(Ages 4+)

Join us to create heart-shaped fabric bookmarks, perfect for Valentine's Day. Ages 4-7 will learn hand sewing, and a limited number of children ages 8+ will use the library sewing machine!

Note: Materials are first-come, first-served, so please arrive on time to participate.

Teen Hearts Hangout

(Ages 11-17)

Celebrate Valentine's Day early by making marshmallow pops and themed crafts!

Sewing Basics

Adults learn the basics of using a sewing machine and complete a small project with fashion designer Chelita Len ice of That's Sew Creative!
