Arts & Craft Programs at the Libraries

Flex your creativity and maybe learn a new skill at one of our creative programs in 2026.
- The Main Library is located at 901 Conover Dr.
- The Warmack Library is located at 760 Bardin Rd.
- The Shotwell Library is located inside the Shotwell Life Center, at 2750 Graham St.
‘80s Hits Paint & Sip (Ages 13–17) Paint your own masterpiece, sip your favorite drink, and celebrate the 1980s with the greatest hits of the era! Note: Drinks will be provided while supplies last.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia Creations (Ages 5–12) Design and decorate your own planter, add chia seeds, and watch your creation sprout to life in days. This hands-on craft is equal parts art, science and fun!

Stitched Stuffies (Ages 16+) Bring your old clothes back to life by recycling it into a Stitched Stuffie! Come learn basic hand sewing and leave with a new keychain or friend. Fabric scraps and supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own to add personal style to your Stitched Stuffie!

Visual Arts Workshop (Ages 11–17) Explore your artistic side and learn more about drawing and sketching techniques through a workshop with the Junior Players of Dallas. Registration: Email dvaldes@gptx.org. Please include the full name and age of the attendee.

Crafting With Pride Join us for an LGBTQ+ friendly craft night! This inclusive event invites everyone to express themselves through Pride themed crafts, connect with others, and create in a fun, welcoming family-friendly space.

Book Bedazzling Bash (Ages 13–17) Get ready to shine! Bring your own book and decorate it with sparkling gems.
