Summer Reading Club

The arts color our world, and this summer, the Libraries bring all kinds of creative programs to our branches. Strum, sing, and explore a world of music at these free library programs. See more of our programs in our Event Guide.

June 6: The Art of Rhythm

Bandan Koro brings high-energy West African drumming and dance that will get your heart pounding and feet moving!

June 20: The Art of Music

Karate Dance Party provides a high-energy concert experience where kids dance, sing, and groove to infectious music and playful beats!

Music Mania

Join us for music-themed activities and a family-friendly concert by David Chicken, featuring amazing tricks by Koko the Dog! All ages.

The World of the Orchestra

(Ages 4+) A hands-on, interactive musical experience with storytime, a musical performance, and an instrument petting zoo.

(All Ages) Celebrate Juneteenth by listening to the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis’ album: Freedom, Justice & Hope. Learn, reflect, dance and create in this family program.

Strummin’ the Summer Away
