Mobile Library

We're taking library programs on the road, with fun, free activities on our Mobile Library. Come find us! See all our mobile library stops, including our regular weekly ones.

 

Mobile Library: Preschool and Kinder Ready (Ages 4-6) 

We are bringing Preschool and Kinder Ready to you! Let's read, dance, play and learn in this adult/child interactive outdoor program. 

  • Grand Peninsula (2603 N Grand Peninsula Dr.): Thursday, Mar 5 from 4 - 5 p.m. 

Hula Hoop Challenge (All ages) 

Spin it to win it! Whoever can spin a hula hoop around their waist the longest will win a light-up hula hoop to take home! A limited number of library hula hoops will be available for use during the competition, first come, first served. 

Note: Please arrive on time to be part of the competition.

Play in the Park (Ages 2-5) 

Join us outside for bubbles, games, and hands-on sensory activities! 

Select Mondays from 3 - 4 p.m.

Pages in the Park (All Ages) 

Enjoy reading and community at Mi Familia Park! Visit our Mobile Libraries, explore books, sign up for a card, and enjoy a spring vibe with a drink from The Coffee Shoppe while supplies last.

  • Mi Familia Park (2402 Cardiff St}: Saturday, Apr 11 from 1 0 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 

Babies on the Move (Ages 0-18 months) 

Catch us on the move as we bring a baby storytime to you! Enjoy songs, books, toys, blocks, and mats designed to engage cognitive and physical development. 

Note: Tents will be set up to protect from the weather.

  • Mi Familia Park (2402 Cardiff St}: Wednesday, Apr 15 at 11 a.m.
  • Grand Peninsula (2603 N Grand Peninsula Dr.): Thursday, Apr 16 at 3 p.m.

Family Game Day (All Ages) 

Explore our Mobile Library and enjoy an afternoon of video games, board games, and outdoor activities with your entire family! 

  • Mi Familia Park (2402 Cardiff St}: Tuesday, Apr 21 from 4 - 5 p.m. 

Crawlin' Creatures (Ages 5+) 

Come on down to the Grand Peninsula Mobile Library stop to make a Crawlin' Creature Creation! Kids will be able to make simple stamps out of foam and stamp all over to make their creation. 

Note: While supplies last.
