Volunteers from AARP will provide free tax assistance by appointment only to low-income and elderly residents. 

Space is Limited! Call 972-237-7540 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.  Monday through Friday to make an appointment. Sessions will be Mondays & Wednesdays, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., February 2 through April 15.

Most sessions will be at the Veterans Event Center, located at 925 Conover, next door to the Main Library.

Call 972-237-7540 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to make an appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior and bring:

  • Intake Form (13614-C, available at the Main Library or from the IRS webpage)
  • Photo id
  • Last year’s tax return
  • Any 1099s and W-2s
  • 1095-A form (if health insurance is from the Affordable Healthcare marketplace. Learn more here.
  • IRS Identity Protection PIN (if applicable)
