to 08:30 PM
Program Presented by Christina Argersinger on “How to Organize Your Family Research Online and on Paper.
Organization is not a fun part of genealogy, but it must be done to maintain healthy record keeping for future generations. In my presentation, we will go through methods to make it easier to keep track of newfound information. Such methods are color coding, keeping file logs and individual ancestor profiles, family records vs individual records, binder methods and computer storage (not on data base).
Christina is an active member of the Arlington Genealogical Society. Her specialties are in document preservation, Italian records, New York state records and Danish records. She takes pride in helping genealogy enthusiasts begin their searches for their family histories.
You will note that the Grand Prairie GS meeting will be in person as well as virtual.
There will be a Meet and Greet at 6:30 pm with the program beginning at 7:00 pm. If you have any questions, please send an email to info@gpgstx.org
