Book Groups

The Warmack Branch Readers' Guild meets at the Warmack Library at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of the month.  

The Warmack Branch Readers’ Guild is a group of readers who enjoy books and sharing their opinions about them. Adult guests are welcome anytime.

Grand Prairie's Summit 50+ club has a monthly book club, co-hosted by one of our librarians.  They meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m. at the Summit to discuss a book or genre. 

• July 14: Open read. Come chat about recently read titles, favorite authors, etc.
• August 11: The Astral Library, by Kate Quinn
• September 8: Change of Heart, by Jodi Picoult
• October 13: Atmosphere, by Taylor Jenkins Reid
• November 10: Sipsworth, by Simon Van Booy
• December 8: The Retirement Plan, by Sue Hincenbergs
• January 8: Open read. Read a fantasy title of your choice. Our suggestions.
