Andrew Fortune serves as the Assistant to the City Manager. His responsibilities include redevelopment, special projects, and legislative affairs. He also serves as the Community and LGBTQ Liaison for the City of Grand Prairie.

Andrew received his Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Mississippi State University. He has completed the William “King” Cole Management Series and is a Texas City Management Association Clarence E. Ridley Scholar.

He is a member of the Urban Management Assistants of North Texas, the North Texas City Management Association, the Texas City Management Association, and the International City/County Management Association. He serves as a board member of the Grand Prairie Rotary Club, Grand Prairie United Charities, and Hispanic Heritage Ambassadors DFW. Andrew currently serves as the Chairman of the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce.
