Outdoor Water Saving Tips
I pledge to do this I am already doing this
Water my lawn and garden in the early morning (before 10 a.m.) or late evening (after 6 p.m.) to avoid unnecessary evaporation or wind drift.
Position sprinklers so water can irrigate landscaping only, avoiding the house, sidewalk, driveway or street.
Mulch my landscape and leave grass clippings on my lawn to help retain moisture.
Use a shut-off nozzle or hose timer on my outdoor watering hose.
Fix outdoor leaks on hose bibs, sprinkler heads and irrigation emitters.
