The Grand Prairie community sent Assistant Police Chief Don Trask "Over The Edge" to support Special Olympics by donating more than $1,000 to Special Olympics.
The Over The Edge event, sponsored by Special Olympics Texas, is conducted statewide each year to raise awareness and money (and your heart rate) to support more than 44,000 Special Olympics Texas athletes. DFW-area participants who reached their fundraising goals rappelled down the Bank Tower at Oak Cliff, 400 S. Zang Blvd., in Dallas, Nov. 7-8, 2014.
