Thank you for your interest in holding your next Special Event in the City of Grand Prairie. Please fill out and submit the Special Event Application below if you plan to hold a 75+ person event.
Before you get started with your online application, please review the City’s special event ordinance and the required special event permit information.
In an effort to make sure the applicant and City are covered, the City of Grand Prairie requires the following insurance coverage for special events based on the risk of event:
- Name the City as additional insured and certificate holder. Please include a subrogation waiver.
- General Liability insurance coverage must be 1,000,000.00 per occurrence.
- If Transportation is provided to and from event: Auto Liability Coverage: Statutory limits.
- If amusements rides are present at the event: Provide the Vendor's insurance certificate with applicant named an additional insured.
