YWLA Cleans Up Walking Trail at Mountain Creek Lake Park

Post Date:05/27/2016 9:40 AM

The ladies of Young Women's Leadership Academy and their families completed the second annual Adopt-a-Stream cleanup of the walking trail at Mountain Creek Lake Park last Saturday. The group of 20 collected 160 pounds of litter, preventing it from entering Mountain Creek Lake where it would cause unsightly pollution. That's a lot of plastic bottles and fast food wrappers! Thank you for helping to keep Grand Prairie beautiful.
