Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful is a program within the City of Grand Prairie's Solid Waste and Recycling Division that focuses on the three main pillars of Keep Texas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful: litter prevention, recycling, and beautification. KGPB partners with the local school district and local businesses as well as scout troops and other volunteer groups to help make Grand Prairie the cleanest, greenest, most beautiful place to live, work, and play.

The KGPB Commission meets monthly, supporting the goals of Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful. 

Initiatives include beautification, education, community gardening, litter prevention and recycling, and partnerships with businesses and schools.

KGPB Celebrates Adopt-A-Street Volunteers

Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful is hosting an Adopt-A-Street Volunteer Appreciation Lunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 16th at Lorenzo de Zavala Environmental Science Academy, 3410 Kirby Creek Drive (use the back entrance).

Please join us to renew your Adopt-A-Street contract or to start a new contract. Updates to the Adopt-A-Street program will be announced. All interested parties are welcome. A list of available streets will be provided for new groups to select from. Copies of Cleanup Reports and Liability Waivers will be available.
