Grand Prairie City Services Independence Day Schedule

In observance of Independence Day, City of Grand Prairie administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3. Lone Stars and Stripes Firework Show is canceled. No other firework shows are planned in town. Holiday hours for other city services are as follows:

All Libraries
Closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. Items may be returned to the 24/7 book drop at each library or Epic Reads and the Lake Parks Book Locker. Items automatically renew up to 3 times, unless on hold for another library user.

Water Bill Payment Offices
Closed Friday, July 3

Charley Taylor, Tony Shotwell and Dalworth Recreation Centers – 
Closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4

The Summit
Will remain closed due to COVID-19 precautions

The Epic Recreation Center
Closed on Saturday, July 4

Prairie Lakes Golf Course
Open with normal hours and holiday pricing

Tangle Ridge Golf Club 
Open with normal hours and holiday pricing

Lynn Creek Park and Loyd Park 
Open 50% Capacity

Kirby Creek Natatorium and Epic Pools
Closed on July 3-5, open on Monday, July 6 with lap swim by reservation and limited open swim sessions

McFalls, Bowles and Tyre Pools and Splash Factory Water Playground
Open beginning Monday, July 6 two days per week

Epic Waters Indoor/Outdoor Water Park
Open from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m.

Garbage Collection/Recycling
No garbage and recycling pick up on Saturday, July 4.  Please put garbage and recycling out on your next scheduled collection day.

Landfill 
Closed on Saturday, July 4

Animal Shelter 
Closed on Saturday, July 4

Municipal Court
Closed Friday, July 3

Tourist Information Center
