Workforce Solutions has shared valuable information for our Grand Prairie residents and businesses during this uncertain time.

  • We continue to add jobs daily. Make sure you check out each post but here are a few highlights:  
    • We have partnered with many great employers on this initiative. Some of them include: Amazon, AutoZone, CVS Health, Delaware North, DFW Airport, FedEx Ground, Integrated Machinery Solutions, Klein Tools, PrintPack, Small Business Administration, Southern Champion Tray, Texas Workforce Commission, Walmart, etc. 

Unemployment Insurance Assistance:

Workforce Solutions does not handle Unemployment Insurance, that is the Texas Workforce Commission.  However, we are committed to sharing the latest information about this subject straight from the agency that handles it. Here are some tips they have shared for some of the issues customers are experiencing.

Grand Prairie Libraries

Visit the Grand Prairie Libraries’ Online Career Center for free assistance in your job search, including:

  • Suggested books, ebooks and eaudiobooks
  • Online job and resume coaches
  • Resume and cover letter builders
  • Resume feedback
  • Test preparation for entrance and occupational exams
  • Online computer classes
  • Online training with over 500 courses, many offering CEUs (continuing education credits)

Online services require a library card, but cards are free, even to non-residents. Apply in person at any Grand Prairie Library, or apply online here.
