Spring Gardening Series begins in March

Horticulturist/Arborist Susan Henson hosts a free 3-part program series.
The Grand Prairie Library presents horticulturist and arborist Susan Henson in a free 3-part gardening series. Programs will be held Thursday nights at the Main Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. No registration is necessary.
- March 12, 2020 - Lettuce Talk Vegetables – This class will assist you in developing a garden this spring that will pack the table full of organic homegrown vegetables this summer. Reduce your grocery bill and ensure that there are fresh, organic vegetables available for the picking with knowledge from this class.
- March 19, 2020 - Blueprint for Landscape Success – Ever wonder what you should be doing in the landscape each month. Timing is the key to a successful landscape and this class will assist in determining when, how and why landscape maintenance should occur. Let’s work smarter not harder.
- March 26, 2020 - Survive and Thrive – Native and adaptive plant material can help your landscape not only survive but also thrive for years to come. Learn how to make this dream come true while reducing water use, fertilizer needs, and maintenance.
