Main Street Fest, free three-day event, set for April 26-28
featuring Casey Donahew Band, Tyler Farr, and Grupo Siggno
The City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts and Recreation Department is hosting the 8th Annual Main Street Fest. This free community event is scheduled for Friday, April 26-Sunday, April 28, 2019, on the 200 block of West Main Street and surrounding areas.
Along with our selected performers, the festival will celebrate the fun, festive, family atmosphere of Grand Prairie with live music featuring headlining performances by Casey Donahew Band, Tyler Farr, and Grupo Siggno! Also on the Main Stage will be Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Kody West, and Tejas Brothers.
Be sure to enjoy a variety of spectacular novelty entertainment, carnival rides, an arts and crafts area, business expo vendors, multiple entertainment stages, food and beer gardens, a KIDZONE, and plenty of fun for all!
For the past seven years, the event has attracted more than 100,000 patrons. With great weather and the success from last year; the 2019 festival is projected to bring an attendance of more than 30,000 visitors.
Since 2014, the festival has received more than 31 state-wide awards, by the Texas Festivals and Events Association and Texas Recreation and Parks Society and was named the 2016 Zenith Festival of the Year: #2 Best Festival in the State of Texas, behind the Texas State Fair.
